It started as a sketch.
Ilham is inspired by the timeless elegance of the Cheongsam, reimagined for the modern modest woman: a flowing jacquard silhouette finished with hand-set pearl buttons. Shafaq is the soft rose glow that lingers in the sky after sunset.
The fabric isn't just a pattern. Plum blossoms bloom in the cold, right when everything else has given up, the first sign that spring is coming. Bamboo stays green through winter, bending under the snow but never breaking. Both are woven into every panel.
The pearls are for her. My grandma never cared much about the patterns. It was always the pearls for her.
Hijab included. Every Ilham and Naseem comes with a coordinating hijab, because to us the hijab isn't an add-on. It completes the look. Shafaq comes with a matcha chiffon hijab, for our favorite strawberry + matcha pairing.
Drapes beautifully and moves with intention, for special occasions or an elevated everyday look.
